A typical installation is started by leveling the ground and shaping it to contour that you want the grass to follow. A crushed stone is leveled and compacted approximately two inches thick, then the turf is rolled out, cut and trimmed. At this time, any seaming and gluing is done followed by nailing the turf down by using nails approximately 6 inches in length every two feet. Finished off by the infill using sand or rubber by use of a stiff wisk broom or a power broom.
